Sticking to the Schedule
Kira finally pooped twice this morning. Thank goodness; her tummy and guts must feel better, although I think her bum hurts because she cries when I wipe it. I'm still mildly annoyed about the constipation and feeding because I feel like I caused it no thanks to my "resources". Bleh.
I think Kira is exhausted from the whole ordeal. She's sleeping a lot; even straight through her mealtimes. The fact that she's sleeping instead of eating is bugging me a little bit, but I'm doing my best to keep calm and carry on. On the left is the theoretical schedule, and on the right is the actual schedule:
8 am - Wake up, 6 oz milk, back to sleep---check
9
10 -Wake up eat breakfast-----------------Continued sleeping
11 Woke up ate oatmeal & pears
12 -4 oz milk---------------------------------4 oz milk
1 pm - Nap---------------------------------------Nap
2 -Lunch------------------------------------Woke up, run errands
3
4 -4 oz milk--------------------------------Fell asleep in the car
5
6 -Dinner
It is now 6:30, and Kira is still sleeping. So far, she has missed Lunch, a bottle, and if she were awake, she should be having dinner right now. I'm going back and forth between worry over her missed food and reassuring that she needs her rest more than food right now and she will eventually get the food she needs. Why am I so stuck on the schedule? If we had stayed home instead of running errands, she would have had lunch. But, one of my errands was to meet with a friend, so we had to go the minute she woke up. Then, we went to the Christmas Tree Shop and Container Store. If I had gone to the mall, there would have been a place to have lunch. But, since we were mostly on the road, it was less convenient. I guess I could have fed her in the car. But I didn't really pack anything for her because we left her diaper bag at my BIL's house by accident a couple days ago. I could have packed another diaper bag with food, but I figured we would only be out for a little while. I tried to be as efficient as possible. Anyway, she doesn't like it when I feed her in the car. Sometimes she throws up. That would have been a pain.
