Kira's Best Qualities

To get over all the trying days that I've had, it helps to remember the things about Kira that make my life easier.  She's a good girl...mostly  =)

 - playing by herself
 - articulating wants and needs
 - decent amount of cleanliness
 - having creativity and imagination to keep herself busy

Writing out this list makes me think of her annoying traits too.

 - impatience, meltdowns, stubbornness
 - overreacting, shouting, crying
 - refusal to nap

Typical for a two year old, right?  Oh well, she's playing quietly by herself right now, and I can enjoy my cup of coffee while Renee sleeps.

I haven't posted in a long while because all of the Kira stories I have lately involve pee, poo, or puke. I didn't think it would be very nice to tell those stories. On Sunday, we had visitors for brunch. Trevor made crepes! They were so good. My friend, (who is also a mom), asked me what new thing Kira is doing lately. I didn't know what to say right away. I had to think about it for a few seconds. I'm glad she asked me this question. If I never stopped to think about it, I wouldn't realize that Kira does something new every few days! Just this weekend, Kira leared to suck her fingers. It's so funny when she does it!
