Kira's First Haircut

While in Toronto, we saw many relatives who we haven't seen in months, some of whom have not ever seen Kira!  Of course, the first comment upon seeing Kira was, "Look at that hair!!!"  It's always the first comment, family members or not.  Many even said we should really cut her hair.  And, my MIL was also convinced it was time to cut Kira's hair.  I didn't want to do it until my Mommy convinced me.  She said, it's summer time and Kira's hair makes her hot and sweaty.  Not to mention, her hair is always in her eyes, blocking her vision and itching her face.  So we did it.

I haven't posted in a long while because all of the Kira stories I have lately involve pee, poo, or puke. I didn't think it would be very nice to tell those stories. On Sunday, we had visitors for brunch. Trevor made crepes! They were so good. My friend, (who is also a mom), asked me what new thing Kira is doing lately. I didn't know what to say right away. I had to think about it for a few seconds. I'm glad she asked me this question. If I never stopped to think about it, I wouldn't realize that Kira does something new every few days! Just this weekend, Kira leared to suck her fingers. It's so funny when she does it!
