New Things
Kira has recently learned how to use scissors. Thanks to her great aunt Buckie, she has left-handed snippies. Give her a catalog, and she will shred it into tiny tiny pieces! At this point, the vacuum cleaner just stays out for the messes she is constantly creating. I should give her information-sensitive mail to play with.
Renee is getting better and better and controlling her hands. She often stares at them and plays with them. And she's starting to grab things too.
Renee also stands very nicely when you support her by the armpits. She has really strong legs. If you lean her forward, she will even make stepping motions, one foot in front of the other. Trevor loves this despite my telling him that it's a reflex.
We successfully weeded the front walk way! It was such an embarrassment how weedy it became...nevermind the rest of the garden. Oh well, baby steps.
